Andrea Echeverri-Gent (she/they) grew up living between two countries and cultures, Charlottesville, Va, USA and San Perdo Sula, Honduras. Personal experience, travel, multiculturalism, and curiosity have informed their artistic expression. Andrea is exploring use of digital and traditional mediums. Their main focus is abstract oil painting with palette knifes.

Andrea has been drawing and painting since a young age. This enthusiasm drove her to take classes from McGuffey Art Center, to participating in their Incubator program, and ultimately becoming an associate member. They also took art classes while attending PVCC. Andrea is currently based in Charlottesville, Va.
